Sounds from the flute and clarinet blend well into a uniquely pleasing tone that is rich and full. This is a song of joy and encouragement. It is also educational with the lyrics describing aspects of God's love for us. Music is suitable to any occasion where God’s love for all people is proclaimed. Included in the music package are all vocal and instrumental parts. The music is designed to be printed as a booklet, but single page printing remains an option. Duration is about four minutes.
- LYRICS –
(1) Divine love is sure, perfect, and pure. God’s love for us is an absolute, everlasting love. This timeless love began before the stars were born. Man’s sin brought separation from God, suffering and death. While we are imperfect sinners, God shows love and mercy.
Almighty God is love, therefore rejoice for love divine!
(2) Divine love reveals the nature of God. While we have not seen God, we know the Father through the Son. God's love is perfect just as Jesus is perfect. Jesus accepted death on the cross out of love for us. His blood was shed so by faith we are righteous before God.
Almighty God is love, therefore rejoice for love divine!
(3) Divine love is free with no conditions. This gracious love cannot be earned, only spurned, or embraced. Because Jesus first loved us, we also love Him. Clad in Christ’s love, we seek a fruitful life pleasing to God. God’s pure love makes possible the gift of eternal life.
Almighty God is love, therefore rejoice for love divine!
